Refunds & Billing

At Edustack, we believe in keeping pricing simple and transparent. This Refunds & Billing Policy sets out how we charge for our services, how payments are processed, and in what circumstances refunds may be considered.

1. Pricing

1.1 Standard access is charged at NZD $83.40 GST inclusive per seat/per year — no hidden costs, no tiered plans.

1.2 Optional add-ons (such as capability scorecards or custom reporting) are charged separately and will be clearly itemised at the time of purchase.
1.3 All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) unless otherwise specified.
1.4 Prices may be subject to applicable taxes (e.g., GST or VAT if required by law).
1.5 Any promotional or discounted pricing will be clearly indicated at the time of purchase.

 2. Payments

2.1 Payments are processed securely via Stripe, our third-party payment processor.

2.2 You may pay by credit card, debit card, or any other payment method accepted by Stripe.
2.3 For business or organisational purchases, invoicing may be available by prior arrangement.
2.4 We do not store your full payment card details. Stripe collects and processes payment data in accordance with the PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard).
2.5 By completing a purchase, you authorise Edustack (and Stripe acting on our behalf) to process the relevant payment.

 3. Billing Cycle

3.1 For subscription-based access, fees will be charged on a monthly billing cycle unless otherwise agreed.

3.2 Charges will be taken on the same day each month as the date of initial purchase.

3.3 Where the billing date does not exist in a given month (e.g., 31st), the charge will occur on the closest prior date.

3.4 You will receive a confirmation email and/or invoice for each payment.

4. Refunds

4.1 Non-refundable once accessed: Once a Stack or module has been accessed, fees are non-refundable.

4.2 Access issues: If you experience technical difficulties accessing content, please contact us promptly at support@edustack.co.nz. We will work with you to resolve the issue.

4.3 Exceptional circumstances: Refunds may be considered in exceptional cases at Edustack’s sole discretion (e.g., duplicate purchases, accidental transactions, or proven technical failures).

4.4 Statutory rights: If you are a consumer located in the European Union, United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction that provides statutory cancellation rights, you may be entitled to a cooling-off period (see our Terms & Conditions for details). These rights may not apply once digital content has been accessed.

5. Disputed Charges 

5.1 If you believe you have been billed incorrectly, please contact us within 14 calendar days of the charge appearing on your account.

5.2 We will investigate promptly and make corrections where appropriate.

5.3 Chargebacks raised through your bank or card provider may delay resolution. We encourage contacting us first to resolve issues directly.

6. Governing Law 

This Refunds & Billing Policy is governed by the same law and jurisdiction set out in Our Terms & Conditions (Clause 25). For most users, this will be the laws of New Zealand and the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
